We have designed our own on-line course to teach games design to students. This follows the same high quality of courses we deliver for teachers, but is designed for student self learning in the home.
Course Tutor
The course is delivered by David Batty, who has 23 years of classroom experience teaching various computer subjects, and has been a programmer for 32 years.
The Course
The course consists of 40 video lessons that teach the concepts of games design and programming using Gamemaker Studio.  This is delivered as high quality streaming videos and accompanying text from within our custom designed online course framework.
Each lesson is followed by a short quiz that must be answered correctly to advance to the next lesson.
Who The Course Is Aimed At
The aim of this course is to provide solid games design skills for students looking at learning games design and programming as part of their classroom studies.
This course will also provide a basic grounding in games design for anyone looking to learn games design for fun, as a second or main income, or as a possible future career.
